Beautiful Designs

Lincoln Center hosted NYC20 this past weekend.  The event showcased 20th Century designs from a handful of top 1st Dibs antique dealers.  I love seeing these unique pieces first hand and learning about their talented creators.  Here are some of my favorite:

1. John Paul Philippe | 2. Downtown-Arturo Pani | 3. Vojtech Blau-Sonia Delaunay | 4. Christopher Anthony LTD.-Charles Hollis Jones | 5. Lost City Arts | 6. Palumbo Anderssen-Tommi Parzinger | 7. Le Lampade-Arredoluce.

Which piece can’t you live without?

Pictures, pictures, pictures-Apps to help share those images.

Here are two great Apps you should consider owning.  With so many Apps in the market it can be daunting  figuring out what’s good or not.  No worries-I am here to help.  My two go to Apps right now are:  Montage and Postagram Postcards.

Montage: Great app to help organize and creatively  display all the pictures you may have.

Cost: $1.99.  They do offer a Montage Lite that’s free with no text.

Details: With so many pictures taken today, organizing them is key and this App helps you do just that.  Create a montage of images in any arrangement you like, plus add text, play around with fonts and color.  So much fun and a lot easier and manageable than Photoshop, anyone can do this.

Here’s a sample of what I created from a trip I took recently to Laduree.

Postagram Postcards:  Take any image you love and send it via postcard.

Cost: Free.  However to mail a postcard the cost is $0.99 YES that’s it!

Details:  Mail out a personalized postcard with any image you have.  Insert the desired image, add a profile image, type in a greeting and send off-it’s that easy.  Bonus-image pops out and can easily be frame or displayed.

Here’s a sample of a postcard I recently sent out.

Love how these two Apps offer you endless creative options.  Use these Apps to capture great memories today and send them to the ones you love!

What Apps are you digging right now?

Wishing you and your families a wonderful Easter!

Three down, nine to go!

A great opportunity to reflect on the first quarter of 2012!  Are you on the right track?  If so, great continue the journey.  If not-don’t be discourage, seize this moment to modify and adjust your goals, ambitions, and action plans to correspond with your current out-look.  There is nothing wrong with change-we all need it to evolve.

I must admit I have steered off road a bit, however it’s the jolt I needed to get back on track.  Always finding the positive, my hurdle has been a learning curve-helping me redefine my desires and aspirations.

As we head into the next quarter lets not forget to capture the moments, ideas, and experiences that come our way with an opportunistic perspective!
